Recently several organizations have been studying the quality and the quality assurance for different delivery modes (ENQA, …), especially those related to blended and distance learning. The rapid changes in this domain and the increasing usage of new technologies make this subject a topic of interest to the Lebanese higher education. Several partner universities have already established units to follow on the new modes of learning. This workpackage aims to shed the light on the quality issues related to the new modes of learning in general. It starts from a bibliographical study of the existing literature and then proposes a set of recommendations to the institutions regarding QA in this particular context. The study and the recommendations shall be discussed in the roundtable and then finalised. A common national roundtable to WP1, WP2, WP3 and WP5 shall be organized in WP5.
