The Erasmus+ project entitled “Programme Evaluation for Transparency and Recognition of Skills and Qualifications” aims at defining a quality system for the review and enhancement of the higher education programmes in Lebanon while taking into consideration the relevance of the resulting qualifications. After two years of work in the project, this second national roundtable aims at presenting to the different stakeholders the major results achieved and to collect their feedback on several choices related to:
- Core standards and guidelines,
- Standards and guidelines per domain: engineering, health sciences, and human and social sciences.
It is important to note that the main objective of the roundtable is to discuss with the different stakeholders (including professional sectors) the standards and procedures to be adopted in external quality assurance at the programmatic level and their relations to recognition and Qualifications Framework.
The national roundtable took place in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education – UNESCO – 12th floor on the 18 September 2018. The Programme is provided hereafter.
